The weather today was cooler so our extra layers were needed!! The intermediate group started the day on the 6 man lift and got straight on to the blue runs, perfecting their parallel turns. They did runs on the other side of the mountain and after lunch they even got to go down a few reds and managed to get some jumps in.
The beginners progressed from the ‘baby bowl’ and went straight on to the button lift to perfect their snow-ploughs and speed control. After lunch they were ready to try a blue run and had their first go on the chair lifts. There were lots of falls and Ben definitely earned my respect for his resilience; he fell a number of times and just kept getting up and trying again! Every student can now be considered a skier!!
