On Friday 2nd October, Sue Whaley, Human Resources Director at First TransPennine Express came in to speak to “Quirky Bunts” our year 10 Enterprise group. The group are taking part in the Manchester Airport Community Network Dragons Den competition.

As part of this competition, the students need to produce an item which will retail for less than £5. The students discussed their idea with Sue and got some really valuable feedback and tips to help them to move forward. Sue will be their business mentor throughout the competition. They will be pitching their idea to the Dragons at Manchester Airport this week to try and secure funding to set up their business.
