    Grade Grade 5  | £19,171 - £21,166  | 37 hours hours per week/52 weeks per year

    The Winsford Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Site Officer for evenings and weekends.  Job sharing of this post is a possibility.

    The successful candidate will be a member of our site team undertaking all premises, building, grounds and community letting management activities ensuring the Academy premises and grounds are maintained, cost effectively, to a high standard in a safe and secure state.

    To have day to day responsibility for ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation encompassing all aspects of the Academy and activities within.

  • Attendance Assistant

    Grade Grade 3  | £8,223 to £8,555 actual  | 20 hours per week (part-time, term time)

    The Winsford Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Attendance Assistant.

    The successful candidate will provide a practical service to school by managing the school’s attendance system and to provide welfare support to students and parents.

    The successful candidate will also be required to provide first aid as required to students, staff and visitors to the academy. Training will be provided.

  • Art Technician

    Grade Grade 3  | £6,579 to £6,844 - actual salary  | 16 hours per week (part-time, term time)

    The Winsford Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Art Technician to start as soon as possible.

    The successful candidate will provide a practical service to the Art Department staff through the maintenance, preparation and provision of equipment and materials to enable pupils to undertake design and technology learning activities, projects and examination work.

  • Kitchen Assistant

    Grade Grade 2  | £6,047 - £6,167 - actual salary  | 15 hours per week (part-time, term time)

    The Winsford Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Kitchen Assist to start at the beginning of September.

    The successful candidate will required to prepare food and beverages including simple cooking.

    To perform general kitchen and dining room duties e.g. washing up, setting up and clearing away of equipment/tables

  • Site Assistant

    Grade Grade 3  | £9.18 per hour  | Casual hours - Evenings/Flexible Hours/Weekends

    The Winsford Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Site Assistant to start as soon as possible.

    The appointed person will be required to support the smooth running of the community use of our building and site during evenings and weekends.  To be responsible for providing a safe and clean environment.  Security of the building and site, setting up and tidying up, ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation offering support to the users of the theatre, sports hall, 3G all-weather pitch, school events, etc.

We are part of the Fallibroome Multi Academy Trust and this has presented us with great support and excellent opportunities for collaboration.

In May 2016 Ofsted judged The Winsford Academy to be Good for ‘overall effectiveness’ and commended for ‘rapid and sustained improvement.’  Inspectors were impressed with pupils’ behaviour and pride in their school and commended a ‘culture of improving learning’ which meant that pupils made good progress in their subjects.
