    The Winsford Academy is seeking applications for a Deputy Head of Mathematics from September 2018, with the drive and vision to deliver excellence in our Maths department. We wish to appoint an exceptional inspirational professional with motivation and passion, who enjoys working in an exciting and rewarding environment and is prepared to contribute fully to school life.     The successful candidate will be an innovative teacher with excellent subject knowledge and the desire and commitment to raise achievement of students at all levels. The requirement will be to teach to GCSE, with the potential to teach to A Level in the future.

    The post holder will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of the department including the development and implementation of plans, policies, targets and practices. They will also be entrusted with the challenge to further accelerate progress in what are already exceptional results for the department.

  • Head of Performing Arts

    The Winsford Academy is seeking applications for a Head of Performing Arts from September 2018 with the drive and vision to deliver excellence in our Performing Arts department. A candidate with a clear focus on outstanding outcomes and experiences for students, you will ensure effective teaching and learning is in place in the Performing Arts, and also ensure broad enrichment opportunities that build a rich and vibrant culture of high quality performance and participation.

    We seek an innovative and motivational teacher with excellent subject knowledge.

    The requirement will be to teach GCSE with the possibility to teach A Level in the future.

    The ability to teach music would be an advantage.

    There has never been a better time to work at the Winsford Academy as we begin our journey to ‘outstanding’ following an Ofsted judgement in May 2016 which awarded the Academy ‘good’ in all four standards.

    The Academy was judged by Ofsted to be Good for ‘overall effectiveness’ and commended for ‘rapid and sustained improvement’ since incorporation into the Fallibroome Trust in September 2014. Inspectors were impressed with pupils’ behaviour and pride in their school and commended a ‘culture of improving learning’ which meant that pupils made ‘good progress in their subjects’. Teachers were commended for their high expectations and for challenging able pupils to achieve high standards and for the quality of care provided for all pupils.

  • Kitchen Assistant (casual hours)

    The Winsford Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Kitchen Assistant.  This post holder will be responsible for assisting with providing a catering service during lettings in the evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers, and during the school day if required.
