• Minibus Driver

    Grade Grade 2  | £15,014-£15,375 (pro rota)  | Casual

    The Winsford Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of casual Mini Bus Driver who has flexible availability and approach to working days and hours and has D1 entitlement to drive a minibus.

    The successful candidate will ensure that pupils, staff, and goods are transported safely to designated destinations.

    Full minibus driver awareness training will be provided if a MiDAS certificate is not held.

    The Winsford Academy supports safer recruitment procedures and the successful applicant will be required to obtain a full enhanced DBS check.

  • Site Manager

    Grade Grade 7  | £22,658 - £25,951  | 37 hours, per week, full year

    The Winsford Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Site Manager.

    The successful candidate will lead our site team to undertake all premises, building, grounds and community letting management activities. To ensure the Academy premises and grounds are maintained and developed, cost effectively, to a high standard in a safe and secure state.
    To have day to day responsibility for ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation encompassing all aspects of the Academy and activities within.

We are part of the Fallibroome Multi Academy Trust and this has presented us with great support and excellent opportunities for collaboration.

In May 2016 Ofsted judged The Winsford Academy to be Good for ‘overall effectiveness’ and commended for ‘rapid and sustained improvement.’  Inspectors were impressed with pupils’ behaviour and pride in their school and commended a ‘culture of improving learning’ which meant that pupils made good progress in their subjects.
