    The Winsford Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Receptionist. The successful candidate will assist in the smooth and efficient running of the school’s office and reception area including operating the school’s switchboard and offering clerical support to the school’s administrative function.

    The successful applicant will be working as part of the team providing administrative support for the school. Prior experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential.

    The school seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our school.
    This will be a highly rewarding role and the successful candidate will form part of an exceptional team of highly committed and dedicated staff.
    The successful candidates will be required to work with students both on a one to one basis and in the classroom helping them to access the curriculum
    Previous experience of working with SEN students, in a secondary setting, with ASD, ADHD and dyslexia would be an advantage.

  • Lettings Office (Casual)

    We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Lettings Officer. This post holder will be responsible for assisting with lettings during the evenings and weekends, on a rota basis, to meet the needs of our customers. They will also be responsible for security of the building and site, setting up and tidying up, ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation offering support to the users of the theatre, sports hall, 3G all-weather pitch, school events, etc

We are part of the Fallibroome Multi Academy Trust and this has presented us with great support and excellent opportunities for collaboration.

In May 2016 Ofsted judged The Winsford Academy to be Good for ‘overall effectiveness’ and commended for ‘rapid and sustained improvement.’  Inspectors were impressed with pupils’ behaviour and pride in their school and commended a ‘culture of improving learning’ which meant that pupils made good progress in their subjects.
