The PE curriculum is a balanced mixture of individual and team activities. In years 7 to 8, all PE lessons are taught in single gender classes and students follow a set programme of activities. The activities are revisited each year in Key Stage 3, thus allowing the students to develop their skills as they move through the school.

Students begin to specialise in a balanced range of sports and they study them in greater depth during years 9 to 11. There is an emphasis on developing the knowledge, understanding and skills so that students can lead a healthy and active lifestyle
